Job Description

FarmHouse Fresh skincare is seeking a Photography & Styling Director to join our standout creative team in our McKinney, Texas Headquarters. You will be part of a leading skincare company in the Spa Industry, where we grow, harvest and craft high-nutrition skincare and body products that are freshly extracted and served in delicious farm-to-table style at thousands of spas, hotels and resorts throughout the U.S., Middle East, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with the advertising design team, you’ll take the lead on crafting the visual language of the brand through photography, styling, and set design.

In this highly collaborative role, you’ll direct photo and video shoots in partnership with internal and external photographers -- overseeing everything from concept and styling to lighting, props, wardrobe, and model direction. You’ll bring concepts to life across product and lifestyle campaigns, ensuring our imagery is consistently fresh, elevated, and on-brand.

Our ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience styling and photographing products and people, particularly within the beauty space, and brings a crisp, modern eye. You’ll be hands-on with creative planning, set direction, and final editing, with opportunities to shoot as well.

*Please submit portfolio or samples of your work to be considered for this opportunity

About our Company:

FarmHouse Fresh skincare has been voted among the favorite spa brands in the U.S. for over a decade, and placed among the most culturally relevant, socially impactful, and authentic companies in the world through Fast Company’s Brands That Matter Awards. We are based in McKinney, Texas, with a team that is warm, friendly and passionate -- where we grow, harvest and craft high nutrition skincare and body products that are freshly extracted and served in delicious farm-to-table style through thousands of spas, hotels and resorts throughout the U.S., Middle East, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Ten to fifteen percent of profits go toward rescuing neglected farm animals – many that come to heal at our company’s headquarters nonprofit 501(c)(3) farm animal sanctuary, featured in People Magazine, which surrounds our workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Direction & Styling

  • Lead the visual direction for photography and styling across brand campaigns, launches, and ongoing content needs -- partnering with both internal and external photographers, videographers, and content creators.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Creative Teams to develop creative briefs that guide campaign direction and strategic vision, ensuring assets meet usage needs across channels (print, web, social, TV, tradeshow, events, and packaging).
  • Brainstorm fresh concepts and create mood boards that align the inside and outside teams on creative direction.
  • Direct weekly photo and video shoots, providing hands-on styling and art direction across a wide range of beauty products and scenes including skincare, models, spa environments, fresh natural food ingredients and plants.
  • Guide the overall look and feel of imagery, from lighting and clothing to props and set design, to deliver cohesive, elevated visuals.
  • Oversee editing, retouching, and color correction processes, ensuring all imagery meets brand standards and creative quality expectations.
  • Provide regular reviews and approvals of content, enforcing brand guidelines throughout all stages of production.

Production Planning & Execution

  • Pre-plan all production details in collaboration with the team, including creative guides, shot lists, lighting direction, prop and wardrobe sourcing, model selection, HMU (hair and makeup) styling points, and product preparation.
  • Maintain shot consistency and quality across all formats and platforms, from social and email to packaging, events, and tradeshow displays.
  • Participate in product photography as needed at a variety of shoot locations: our photo rooms, greenhouse, spa, outdoor ranch/sanctuary, and production studio/set.
  • Manage timelines and workflows while coordinating with both internal and freelance creatives to ensure on-time, on-brand execution.

Collaboration & Team Communication

  • Work closely with the Creative Director and Associate Creative Director to align on campaign vision, brand priorities, and execution timelines.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams, photographers, and creative contributors to streamline the creative process.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members to support ongoing creative growth.
  • Contribute actively to team brainstorms and creative ideation sessions, bringing fresh concepts and collaborative energy to the table.

Our ideal candidate:

  • 7+ years of experience in photography, styling, and creative direction — beauty or lifestyle experience preferred.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing crisp, modern, and clean aesthetic across product and model photography.
  • Proven ability to lead photo shoots and guide creative teams across styling, lighting, and production.
  • Strong eye for detail, color, layout, and storytelling.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits:

  • Monthly bonus opportunity as a percent of salary based on achievement of company target sales goal.
  • Eligible for individual and family health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and Flexible Spending Account.
  • Retirement Plan: 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 5% company match.
  • Insurance Coverage: Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage.
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eight weeks for birthing mother and four weeks for fathers, partners, and adopting parents
  • 9 company paid holidays:
  • 15 Days of paid PTO provided for absences from the office, for any reason.
  • FarmHouse Fresh products free for personal use.
  • FarmHouse Fresh products at wholesale cost for family, friends and gifts.
