As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail and mall environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role is focused on maintaining a secure and positive atmosphere for all guests and staff at the location.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist in helping to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols and instructions from site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
