The General Manager (GM) at Crabtree Dispensary leads daily operations at the dispensary from open to close. They are accountable for providing a welcoming store environment for teammates and customers, supervising the team, and delivering consistent, positive, and memorable customer experiences. They will manage an Assistant General Manager, Inventory Manager, Budtenders, and Receptionists. The GM reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The tentative start date will be between August 1 - September 1, 2025. Responsibilities Build and lead a high performing team Build and retain a high-performing team through effective recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching Inspire a culture of performance, passion, and compliance through feedback and recognition Coach teammates to consistently deliver memorable, positive customer experiences Schedule employee shifts and hold team members accountable for accurate timekeeping, schedule compliance, and reliability Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Adhere to daily compliance checklist Ensure teammates know their compliance responsibilities Supervise inventory manager and oversee all inventory tasks Oversee regular inventory cycle counts Supervise inventory receiving and inventory movements Regularly perform METRC and POS audits and verify data for accuracy Maintain product expiration logs and create ways to sell products prior to expiration date Ensure software tools and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are effectively and efficiently functioning Work with CEO to develop and refine SOPs Provide a seamless and consistent omni-channel customer experience in-store and at drive-thru Oversee the physical store environment Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Follow store security and safety SOPs Customer focus: uses data and customer/employee feedback to consistently deliver positive customer experience Results oriented: challenges and inspires team to exceed goals Collaborative: communicates effectively across channels with actionable and respectful direction, and coaches others to work collaboratively Leadership: places a high priority on developing people to drive strong performance and achieve career goals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or comparable business experience At least five years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS (Dutchie preferred) business operations Cannabis experience preferred Inventory control experience is required Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance Must be 21 years or older Must pass any and all required background checks Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Crabtree Dispensary Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws Skills Must be proactive, with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills Meet timelines consistently and be able to work under pressure effectively Continuously open to constructive, developmental feedback, ability to maintain composure even in difficult situations High interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, often working cross-functionally Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense and resourcefulness Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment Possesses a high level of critical thinking Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information and complying with HIPPA requirements Ability to resolve conflict, handle employee and customer complaints, and settle disputes Bonus Medical insurance Vision insurance Disability insurance Crabtree Dispensary, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
